Just before mounting the beam at the Rio Olympics, Laurie Hernandez whispered to herself, “I got this.” A TV camera captured the moment, and made it immortal. She then nailed the exercise, helping the Final 5 win gold in the all-around.

Laurie has written a book about her life, and used the phrase that she helped make famous in the title: I Got This: To Gold and Beyond.
